Luke at 2!

I wanted to jot down some of the things Luke is up to at 2:
  • His favorite drink is called "Bunny Drink." Luke will not drink regular milk but will drink Strawberry Nesquick. When he saw the bunny on the container, he started calling it his "Bunny Drink." Very Cute!
  • Sometimes when Luke is tired, he tells me "Baby, Baby." He wants me to hold him like a baby.
  • Instead of saying "Oopsies", he says, "Oopies."
  • Luke loves to sing along to the CDs in the car. His current favorite song is Michael Buble's "Just Haven't Met You Yet!" He has good taste!
  • He is very concerned about Reagan and what she is doing. If he wakes up first from his nap, he asks for her. If he gets a snack, he tells me,"Reagan, too." If I put him in the bath tub first, he asks where Reagan is. It is very cute!
  • On the flip side, Luke is quite aggressive with Reagan. He likes to beat on her. He is going to Time-Out for that!
  • Luke knows how to open doors now, but only the ones where you open and then push the door open.
  • Luke LOVES blueberries. He eats them like they are going out of style!
  • When Luke is sick (which is about every other week), he loves to have 3-4 blankets on him. He sleeps with 3-4 blankets each night. He can never have too many blankies!
  • His interests are: all things related to trains, cars, blocks, Duplo, Tinker Toys, coloring, books, and playing with Caroline. He idolizes his big sister and asks for her when she is at school!
  • He can say almost all words at this point. For some reason though, he calls pizza "tuptee." His vocabulary is excellent.
  • Luke loves to jump off the couch onto pillows on the floor. He carefully arranges the pillows exactly how he wants them.

This little boy cracks me up! He is a joy and loves me to death (I don't know why). He is my little buddy!

How sweet! Nathan was a momma's boy. He was always in my lap or leaning on me. He's such a boy. Barret is the same way with "blankies". I counted 5 plus the top sheet and comforter! His crib comforter is his security blanket. It looks awful. Andrew is the only affectionate one. He loves to kiss and hug me and tells me he loves me. Although they drive me nuts, I wouldn't trade them for anything. Happy Birthday Luke!
